The present petition has been filed by the petitioners for grant of anticipatory bail in case arising out of FIR No.75, dated 10.04.2026, registered under Sections 308(2), 126(2), 351(3), 137(1)(b) and 61(2) of the BNS and Section 77 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, at Police Station Dasuya, District Hoshiarpur. 2. Vide order dated 26.06.2026, passed by this Court, the petitioner was granted interim bail and was directed to join investigation. 3. Learned State counsel on instructions from the Investigating Officer has submitted that the petitioner has joined investigation on 05.07.2026 and her custodial interrogation is not required. 4. Given the nature of allegations as levelled against the petitioner, this Court is of the considered opinion that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required. It is well settled proposition of law that pre- trial incarceration should not be a replica of post conviction sentencing. As such, a case is made out for allowing this petition. Accordingly, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 26.06.2026 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to compliance of conditions laid down in Section 482(2) of BNSS. 6. Since the main petition has been disposed of, pending application, if any, is rendered infructuous.
