ORAL ORDER
The petitioner is before the Court seeking the following prayers:
"a. Quash the compliant dated 22.03.2026 at ANNEXURE A filed by Respondent No.2 with Respondent No.1 Police; and b. Quash the FIR in crime number 103/2026 at ANNEXURE-B registered by Respondent No.1 Police for

alleged offence punishable under Section 316(4), 318(4) and 3(5) of BNS Act, 2023; c. Grant such other relief/reliefs as deemed fit and proper in the circumstances of the case as may be necessary."
2. Heard Sri.Madhu N Rao, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Smt.Waheeda M.M., learned HCGP appearing for respondent No.1, Sri.D.R.Ravishankar, learned Senior Counsel for Sri.M.M.Ashoka, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2 and have perused the material on record.
3. During the subsistence of the proceedings, this court granted an interim order of stay. After the grant of interim order of stay when the matter was heard, the complaint that was filed by the petitioner was not registered and this Court had directed registration of the crime and now the crime is registered.
4. In the light of the crime so registered, one by the petitioner against the complainant and the other by the complainant against the petitioner, this Court would deem it appropriate to permit investigation in both these cases. The

investigation shall ensue and in the light of the investigation
directed to continue, in the garb of investigation, no coercive steps would be taken against the petitioner.
5. It is needless to observe that the petitioner and the complainant in the respective complaints against each other shall co-operate with the investigation. They are at liberty to re-approach this Court once the final report is filed and the final report would go against them.
6. Since the issue arises out of the same transaction, the Investigating Officer investigating into the offences shall be common.
Writ Petition stands disposed.
