The present contempt petition has been filed for disobedience of the order dated 22.08.2025 (Annexure P-1) passed in CRM-M-46295-2025.

A perusal of the order dated 22.08.2025 (Annexure P-1) would show that a direction was given to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana to look into the representation dated 02.07.2025 and decide the same, in accordance with law.

Learned State counsel has handed over a copy of order dated
26.08.2026. The same is taken on record as ‘Mark-X’. A copy thereof has also been supplied to learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner.

A perusal of the abovesaid order dated 26.08.2026 would show that the representation submitted by the petitioner has been considered and decided.

In light of the abovesaid facts, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner does not want to press the present petition with liberty to challenge the abovesaid order dated 26.08.2026, if so advised.

Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed as not pressed with liberty as prayed for.
