By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction towards the respondent No.3 to consider the case of the petitioner for new place of posting at vacant post of Assistant Teacher (LB). 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is working as Assistant Teacher (L.B.), was suspended on account of non-joining at her transferred place of posting. He submits that, upon revocation of her suspension vide order dated 13.07.2026, the petitioner was directed to join at Government Primary School, Tiralgarh, Koylibeda, but her joining has not been accepted and the Head Master, vide letter dated 20.07.2026 (Annexure P/5), sought guidelines from the Block Education Officer, Koylibeda regarding her posting. He further submits that the petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 28.07.2026 before respondent No.3, which is still pending consideration. He, therefore, prays for a direction to the competent authority to consider and decide her grievance and pass an appropriate order regarding her posting within a stipulated period. 3. On the other hand, learned State counsel, by placing on record a communication dated 25.09.2026 issued by the District Education Officer, North Bastar, Kanker to the petitioner, submits that the petitioner has already joined at the office of the Block Education Officer, Koylibeda, pursuant to which she has been permitted to 3 join at Government Primary School, Tiralgarh, Block Koylibeda. He submits that the petitioner is presently posted at the said school and is not a surplus teacher. He, therefore, submits that, in view of the subsequent developments and the communication dated 25.09.2026 issued by the competent authority, the grievance raised by the petitioner no longer survives and the present petition is liable to be dismissed accordingly. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 5. Having considered the rival submissions made by learned counsel for the parties and upon perusal of the material available on record, this Court is of the opinion that, in view of the subsequent development and the communication dated 25.09.2026 issued by the District Education Officer, North Bastar, Kanker, whereby the petitioner has been permitted to join at Government Primary School, Tiralgarh, Block Koylibeda, and is no longer treated as a surplus teacher, the grievance raised by the petitioner does not survive for consideration. 6.
