... Petitioner.

... For the Petitioner.
Mr. Krishnendu Bhattacharya, APP, Ms. Tanusree Kar
... For the State.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been foisted with the present criminal case and is in custody since 18.12.2025. There are no materials to support further detention of the present petitioner. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that recovery was from the conscious possession of the petitioner to the tune of 45.825 kgs. of Ganja. It has been submitted that charge-sheet has already been submitted. Having considered the overall circumstances, I am of the opinion that the petitioner has failed to overcome the rigours of Section 37 of the NDPS Act. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected at this stage.
2 The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 1865 of 2026, is, thus, dismissed. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
