Heard Mr. Vivek Kumar Agrawal, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mr. Shaleen Singh Baghel, learned Government Advocate for the respondent No.1/State and Ms. Monika Singh, Advocate for Respondent No.2. 2. The petitioners have filed this petition with following prayer: It is therefore prayed that this Hon’ble Court be pleased to call for entire records of the case and be further pleased to allow this petition and quash the impugned FIR bearing Crime No.319/2022 registered at Police Station Jashpur, District Jashpur, Chhattisgarh for alleged offences punishable under Sections 323, 498A of IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and the impugned final report bearing No.05/2024 submitted in furtherance of the impugned FIR (Annexure P-1), in the interest of justice. This Hon’ble Court be further pleased to quash the entire proceedings of the Criminal Case no.75/2024 pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate (including the order taking cognizance) (Annexure P-2), in the interest of justice. This Hon’ble Court be further pleased to pass such other orders as it may deem fit under the facts and circumstances of the case, in favor of the petitioners, in the interest of justice. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that during the pendency of the present petition, the dispute between the parties has been amicably resolved and a settlement agreement has 3 / 3 been executed before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court. It is further submitted that in view of the said compromise, the criminal case pending before the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jashpur has already been disposed of vide judgment dated 04.01.2025 on the basis of compromise, therefore, in view of the aforesaid development, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present petition. 4. Learned State counsel as well as learned counsel for Respondent No.2 submit that in view of the compromise arrived at between the parties and the fact that the trial Court has already disposed of the matter on the basis of compromise, they have no objection if the present petition is disposed of. 5. Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties and in view of the compromise arrived at between the parties, the present petition stands disposed of. 6.
