The affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record. 2. The petitioner’s residential property has been put up for sale and steps have been taken, as informed by Ms. Ghosal, learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the Bank, but sale certificate has not been issued. Mr. Debnath, learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner, has fairly submitted that he is willing to match the sale price of Rs. 44,89,000/-. 3. The petitioner will approach the Bank by January 13, 2026 to forward his proposal. The Bank will consider the proposal of the petitioner in the presence of the petitioner as well as the successful auction purchaser. 4. Till the consideration is made and disposed of, preferably by January 20, 2026, the Bank is 2 restrained from issuing a sale certificate in favour of the auction purchaser. In the event the auction purchaser demands interest, the same will be considered by the Bank and duly intimated to the petitioner during the course of hearing. 5. With these afore-stated directions, the writ petition is disposed of. 6. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 7.
