Pursuant to the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.5266 of 2026 dated 20.02.2026, the Commissioner of Greater Chennai Corporation has caused notice to the petitioner herein on 03.06.2026 under Section 128(1)(b) of the Tamil Nadu Urban and Local Bodies Act, 1998, calling upon the petitioner to show cause why the encroachment blocking the road should not be removed within 15 days. Within the 15 day period granted under the said notice, the petitioner submitted their reply on 10.06.2026. 2. The learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner’s reply is under active consideration and appropriate orders will be passed thereon, preferably within a week. 4.
