1. Petitioners have approached this Court by was of present petition filed under Articles 226/227 r/w Article 21 of the Constitution of India, seeking direction to official respondents No.2 & 3 to protect their lives and personal liberty from the hands of private respondents No.4 & 5 (respondent No.4 being their biological father and respondent No.5 being their step-mother), or anybody else to interfere with the lives and liberty of the petitioners or to harass them in any manner against their wishes, or also to cause any detriment to the petitioners in any manner. 2. At the outset, in compliance to order dated 03.07.2026, passed by this Court, learned State counsel has filed the status report dated 01.09.2026 by way of affidavit of Shantanu Sharma, Deputy Commissioner, Sirsa (respondent No.6) in Court today, which is taken on record. Office to tag the same at appropriate place. A copy thereof has been handed over to the counsel for the JAWALA RAM 2026.09.03 19:54 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP-8839-2026 - 2 - petitioners. 3. Relevant paragraphs No.2 & 3 of the aforesaid status report reads as under:-
“2. That in order to comply with the afore mentioned interim directions issued by this Hon'ble Court, a team of officers comprising of District Programme Officer, Women and Child Development; members from Child Welfare Committee, One Stop Centre, District Child Protection Unit conducted meetings with the petitioners as well as Sh. Sandeep Kumar-the biological father of the petitioners/respondent No. 4 and both the parties are more or less agreed to stay at Sirsa for pursuing their studies. 3. That further interactive session was conducted by the deponent in his office on 26.08.2026 which was attended by Ms. Shaina-one of the petitioners and Sh. Sandeep Kumar – respondent No. 4. During the meeting, it was intimated that both of the petitioners have shifted to stay in their own house on 25.08.2026 and expressed their mutual satisfaction vis-a-vis issues such as place of stay. It is clear from the above that the petitioners have voluntarily vacated their rented accommodation and shifted to their house and are seemingly satisfied from security & safety point of view.
It is reiterated that the petitioners have been advised to contact SP Sirsa; SDM, Sirsa; DSP Sirsa; SHO of concerned Police Station; the members of Child Welfare Committee; officials of District Child Protection Unit & One Stop Center and DC Camp Office and their numbers have been shared with Ms. Shaina whenever she or her brother faces any threat or manhandling for which all concerned Officers/Officials including Police have been sensitized to treat the representation/telephonic conversation promptly.” JAWALA RAM 2026.09.03 19:54 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

4. In view of order already recorded on 31.08.2026 and status report filed today before this Court, this Court is of the opinion that no issue is left requiring any further adjudication. Therefore, present petition is
disposed of with further observation that in case petitioners again develop any apprehension, as was expressed at time of filing present petition, in coming days, it will be open for them to file an application for revival/taking up present petition again for consideration, instead of filing any fresh petition. However, any such application shall be supported by an affidavit containing details with regard to subsequent happenings, if any.
5. Accordingly, instant petition is disposed of with above observations. However, it need not be declared that earlier order dated 31.08.2026 passed by this Court, shall be read as part of the present order. Pending misc. application(s), if any, also stand(s) disposed of.
