Prayer in this petition, filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 (earlier Section 438 Cr.P.C.), is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, who has been booked in a criminal case arising out FIR No.0181 dated 23.06.2026, registered under Sections 194, 191(3), 190, 112 and 351(2) of BNS and Section 25 of the Arms Act, at Police Station City Sri Muktsar Sahib, District Sri Muktsar Sahib, Punjab. 2. Impugned order dated 21.08.2026 dismissing the bail of the petitioner is based upon the non cooperation of the accused with the investigating agency as the weapon of offence could not be recovered though petitioner had joined investigation. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner argues that once it was on the petitioner to join investigation and there cannot be any compulsion for getting any weapon recovered forcibly as per wish of the Investigating Officer, without REENA 2026.08.27 17:48 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CRM-M-48054-2026 holding any inquiry on the said issue or even affording of any other chance, against law the anticipatory bail petition is dismissed by the Court below.
