For the Respondents: Mr. Rajan Kahol & Mr. Vishal Panwar, Additional Advocate Generals with Mr. Ravi Chauhan & Mr. Anish Banshtu, Deputy Advocates General, for the respondent-State. _______________________________________________________ Sandeep Sharma, Judge(oral): Having taken note of the fact that petitioner has been declared as proclaimed offender for his failure to appear before the Court below despite due notice, this Court is of the view that appropriate remedy available to the petitioner is to surrender before the Court below, which has passed the proclamation order. 2. Faced with aforesaid situation, learned counsel representing the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to surrender before the Court below. Ordered accordingly. Needless to say, in the event of the petitioner surrendering before the Court below, the said Court shall take note of 1Whether the reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 the fact that petitioner is ready and willing to pay the cheque amount on the day he surrenders.
