Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to a) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, declaring the action of the 4th Respondent in not issuing a Police Clearance Certificate to the petitioner, and the consequential action of the 2nd Respondent in not processing the petitioner's application for immigration purposes other than citizenship/visa bearing Application Ref. No. 26- 1056176651 dated 04.04.2026, as being illegal, arbitrary, unreasonable, and violative of Articles 14, 19(1)(g), and 21 of the Constitution of India and b) Consequently direct the respondents to forthwith issue a Police Clearance Certificate to the petitioner, duly reflecting the pendency of Crime No.95 of 2025, and to process and grant the requisite clearance for immigration purposes other than citizenship/visa, without reference to the mere pendency of the criminal case c) Declare that the mere pendency of a criminal case, in the absence of any conviction or judicial restraint on travel, cannot constitute a valid or lawful ground for denial of a Police Clearance Certificate or for withholding consideration of the petitioner's application for immigration/work purposes d) Pending disposal of the present Writ Petition, direct the respondents to process the petitioner's application bearing Ref.
