Petitioner is peon in the respondent- Forest Department. The case set up by him is that on 14.05.2025, State has ordered shifting of Head Quarter of Wild Life Wing from Shimla to Dharamshala. Pursuant thereto, staff posted there was also transferred. Consequently, the petitioner has also been directed to join at Dharamshala. Petitioner’s grievance is that he was attached with Shimla Wild Life Division and deployed in the office of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wild Life) on temporary basis; That he 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes 2 is in receipt of salary from Wild Life Division, Shimla; That being a Class-IV employee it will difficult for him to serve at Dharamshala. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner had preferred a representation vide Annexure P-8 to Divisional Forest Officer (Head Quarter Wild Life) office of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wild Life), H.P. seeking his adjustment at Shimla Wild Life Division stated to be his parent office. However, no decision on said representation has been conveyed to the petitioner till date. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner would be satisfied in case the respondents/Competent Authority is directed to decided the petitioner’s aforesaid representation within a time bound schedule. 3. In view of the above, respondent No.2/Competent Authority is directed to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner in accordance with law within three weeks. The order so passed shall also be communicated to the petitioner. 4. The instant petition is disposed of in above terms. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
