The petitioner has filed this petition seeking following relief (s) : “10.1. That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to set-aside the proceedings, whereby the salary of the petitioner has been reduced to Rs. 8,000/- per month to Rs. 9,550/- per month. 10.2. That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to continue the petitioner on the post of Cooks on a fixed salary of Rs. 9,550/-. 10.3. That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief as it may deems fit and appropriate. 2. Mr.Rao, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that initially, the petitioner was appointed on the post of Cook by respondent No.7 vide order dated 14.11.2005. He would further submit that wages payable to the petitioner are at Collector rate. Mr. Rao would contend that wages of the petitioner were reduced from month of April, 2021 and therefore, this petition was filed seeking a direction to the respondent authorities to make payment of wages as per Collector rate. Mr. Rao would further contend that by virtue of interim order dated 24.08.2021, the petitioner received wages on Collector rate till her retirement. 3. On the other hand, Mr. Sahu, learned counsel appearing for the respondents No.3 to 6 would oppose submissions. He would submit that as the petitioner has already retired from services, this petition has become infructuous. 4. Mr. Tripathi, learned Panel Lawyer appearing for the State would also support the contention made by Mr. Sahu. 5. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and perused the documents placed on record. 6. Taking into consideration the fact that by virtue of interim order 3 dated 24.08.2021, the petitioner received wages on Collector rate till date of retirement, in my opinion, nothing remains for adjudication in this matter.
