In this writ petition, petitioner is assailing the notice at Annexure-A issued by the respondent No.4- Tahsildar, Bangalore South Taluk, Bangalore. - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010810492025 NC: 2026:KHC:46866 WP No. 37783 of 2025 3. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties, it is forthcoming from the notice that, the petitioner has encroached the land belonging to the government, and accordingly, the impugned notice has been issued. 4. In the backdrop of these aspects, I am of the view that, respondent No.4 be directed to conduct a spot inspection along with the jurisdictional Assistant Director of Land Records, in the presence of the petitioner, and thereafter take a decision in the matter as to whether the petitioner has encroached the land belonging to the government. If the respondent-Authorities come to a conclusion that the petitioner has encroached the land belonging to the government, the petitioner shall be evicted from such government land in accordance with law. 5. In that view of the matter, the respondent No.4 and the jurisdictional Assistant Director of Land Records - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010810492025 NC: 2026:KHC:46866 WP No. 37783 of 2025 shall conduct a spot inspection and survey on 05.10.2026 at 11.00 a.m. in the presence of the petitioner, and thereafter, take a decision in the matter.
