The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that though the order dated 22nd July, 2026 passed by the learned Civil Judge, 6th Bench, City Civil Court, at Calcutta in Misc. Case No. 16395 of 2025 has been challenged but he has been instructed by the petitioner to pray for expeditious hearing of the pending injunction application. The learned advocate appearing for the opposite party submits that several applications are fixed for hearing on 7th September, 2026. He further submits that the opposite parties have filed a demurer application to the application filed under Section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure. He submits that several applications are fixed for hearing on 7th September, 2026. After hearing the learned counsel for the respective parties and considering the materials on record, this Court is of the considered view that interest of justice would be sub- served if the learned Judge, 6th Bench, City Civil Court is requested to take up the hearing of the pending applications on 7th September, 2026 and to dispose of the same expeditiously. In the light of the submission made by the learned
2 Advocate for the petitioner, this civil revisional application stands disposed of by requesting the learned Judge, 6th Bench, City Civil Court at Calcutta to take up the hearing of the petitions filed by the respective parties on 7th September, 2026 and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. It is, however, made clear that the learned trial judge shall be free to decide which of such applications shall be taken up first. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisites formalities.
