THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE BATTU DEVANAND WRIT PETITION No.5989 of 2026 ORDER:- 1. This Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondent-police in not giving police clearance certificate to get passport renewal of the petitioner, as illegal, arbitrary, and violation of Articles 14,19 & 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently, prayed to direct the respondent-police to issue clearance certificate to the petitioner. 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with a request to grant liberty to file afresh. 3. Permission is granted. 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with a liberty to file a Writ Petition afresh. 5. No order as to costs.
