Petitioner is serving as Clerk in a school run by Nagar Nigam, Haridwar on contract since January, 2011. According to him, his work and conduct is found to be satisfactory and there is no complaint against his performance, yet his claim for regularisation is not being considered. It is contended that there is a vacant post available against which petitioner is serving. 5. Learned counsel appearing for Nagar Nigam, however, disputes the said contention and submits that there is no sanctioned post available in the Nagar Nigam. 6. Be that as it may, since petitioner has sought a writ of mandamus directing the competent authority to consider his claim for regularisation and learned counsel for Nagar Nigam submits that the writ petition can be disposed of by permitting the petitioner to make representation. Accordingly, the writ 2026:UHC:3107 petition is disposed of by permitting petitioner to make fresh representation to the competent authority seeking regularisation. If he makes such representation within two weeks from today, decision thereupon shall be taken as per law, within three months thereafter.
