The present revision petition has been filed by the petitioners challenging the order dated 14.05.2024 (Annexure P-1) whereby, the defence of the petitioners (defendants No.2 and 3) has been struck off. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that order dated 14.05.2024 was not in the knowledge of the petitioners (defendants No.2 and 3) whereby, the application for striking off the defence was allowed. 3. Having heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, a perusal of the facts of the present case would show that written statement was not filed by the petitioners (defendants No.2 and 3) for more than three years while the trial proceedings continued. Further, no satisfactory explanation has been given for delay in filing this revision petition after almost 2 years.
