Sri.Malipatil.P.S., counsel for the petitioner appeared in person. Smt.Nalini Venkatesh., counsel for respondent No.1 appeared through video conferencing. 2. This writ petition is filed seeking following reliefs: i. Issue a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the order dated:03.11.2020 passed by respondent No.1 vide Annexure- C. ii. Issue a writ/ order/ direction as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the facts and circumstances of case holding that the petitioner not liable to pay EPF contribution as the petitioner is not an employer in the interest of justice equity. 3. Counsel for the petitioner submits that a memo has been filed and the same may be placed on record and the writ petition may be disposed of in terms of the memo. 4. Counsel for respondent No.1 on instructions submits that respondent No.1 has received dues. Hence, she submits that she has no objection to dispose of the writ petition in terms of the memo. - 3 -

5. The oral submission made by counsel for the respective parties and the memo is placed on record and the same reads as under:
"The petitioner has paid Employees Provident Fund dues to the Recovery Officer by way of cheque bearing No.442280, dated:18.09.2025, as per the impugned order (Annexure-C) and the copy of the letter dated:19.09.2025 of the petitioner is produced along with this memo.
Hence, in view of the payment of the dues, the above writ petition does not survive for consideration on merits. Hence, the above writ petition may kindly be disposed of accordingly, in the interest of justice and equity."
