Bhatta, learned counsel for the applicant. 2. This interlocutory application has been filed by the applicant/Insurance Company in connection with MAC Appeal No. 152/2026 praying for stay of the execution of the impugned judgment and award dated 18.12.2025, passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Goalpara, in MAC Case No. 312/2018 whereby the applicant was directed to pay an amount of Rs.7,61,200/- along with an interest at the rate of 7.5% per annum to the claimant/respondent. 3. Since, the learned counsel for the applicant submits that the appellant is ready to deposit 50% of the awarded amount as a condition for grant of stay of execution of the impugned judgment and award, the notice to the respondents is waived and this interlocutory application is allowed. 4. The execution of the impugned judgment and award dated 18.12.2025, passed in MAC Case No. 312/2018 is hereby stayed during the pendency of the connected MAC Appeal N o. 152/2026, subject to deposit of Page No.# 3/3 50% of the awarded amount by the applicant before the Registry of this court within a period of 6(six) weeks from the date of this order. 5.
