Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is living with 8 years old child at Salem and the respondent/husband is working in IT Field and the petitioner/wife has filed a petition in MC No.101 of 2025 which is pending before Family Court, Salem and the respondent/husband filed HMOP No.935 of 2025 before Family Court, Coimbatore and the petitioner/wife filed a petition in HMOP No.823 of 2025 and the same is pending before Family Court, Salem and the petitioner/wife finds it difficult to travel from Salem to Coimbatore to attend the proceedings and therefore prays for transfer of the case to Family Court, Salem. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner is unemployed. 3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to transfer HMOP No.935 of 2025 from the file of Family Court, Coimbatore to the file of Family Court, Salem. 4. Accordingly,Tr.C.M.P.No.295 of 2026 is allowed and the proceedings in HMOP No.935 of 2025 is withdrawn from the file of Family Court,Coimbatore and the same is transferred to Family Court, Salem. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis TR CMP No. 295 of 2026 5. The Family Court, Coimbatore is directed to send the entire records relating to HMOP No.935 of 2025 to Family Court, Salem forthwith. 6. On receipt of the records, the Family Court, Salem is directed to issue notice to both the parties and directed to proceed with the matter along with M.C.No.101 of 2025, petition filed by the petitioner/wife and HMOP No.823 of 2025, petition filed by the petitioner/wife, pending before Family Court, Salem. 7. Since the respondent/husband is employed he is permitted to appear through video conference and the respondent/husband is directed to pay a sum of Rs.12,000/- (Rupees Twelve thousand only) per month to the petitioner/wife as interim maintenance until modification.
