3. The instant writ of Habeas Corpus has been filed by the husband of the alleged victim.
4. It has been stated that, on August 17, 2026, the victim was forcibly taken away by some persons giving serious apprehension regarding her safety and personal liberty. It has also been alleged that, on August 24, 2026, the wife of the petitioner informed him over phone that, she has been kept in a Bidi Godown and not permitted to return.
5. The State had filed a report today annexing a copy of a letter written by the petitioner informing the police station that he has recovered his wife.In view of this letter of the petitioner annexed to the report, the
2 instant writ of Habeas Corpus is disposed of without any order as to costs.
