The petitioner is an accused in connection with Special POCSO Case No. 50 of 2025 arising out of Barwadih P.S. Case No. 47 of 2025, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, POCSO, Latehar. It has been alleged that on the pretext of marriage, the petitioner had established physical relationship with the daughter of the informant. Though it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the medical report does not support the factum of rape and the petitioner is in custody since 11.08.2025, but regard being had to the fact that the age of the victim has been assessed to be 15 years and in her 183 BNSS statement, she has supported the allegations levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner which stands rejected at this stage.
