1. The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the entire disciplinary enquiry including the show-cause notice along with charge-sheet, articles of charge, and the list of documents and witnesses for initiating a departmental enquiry.

Learned counsel for the respondents would submit that, pursuant to the interim order dated 07.04.2017 passed by this Court, the BHUMIKA ANGARE Digitally signed by BHUMIKA ANGARE Date: 2026.09.28 18:51:59 +0530
2 departmental enquiry has been conducted and the enquiry report has already been prepared. The said report was submitted before this Court in a sealed cover as per direction given by this Court on
31.08.2026.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the copy of enquiry report has not been supplied to her, therefore, a copy of the same be provided to her. She would further submit that the instant petition may kindly be disposed of directing the respondents to give an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner to make his defence, including the grounds and contentions raised in the present writ petition in respect of the charges framed against him.
4. In view of submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner as aforestated.

The respondents are directed to furnish a copy of the enquiry report to the petitioner, who in turn shall submit his defence, including the grounds and contentions raised in the present writ petition in respect of the charges framed against him and thereafter the same shall be considered and decided by the respondents in accordance with law.
6. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the instant writ petition stands disposed of.
7. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the respondents are at liberty to decide the case of the petitioner without being influenced from any of the observation made by this Court.

8. The original enquiry report shall be returned to learned counsel for the respondents after retaining a photocopy of the same.
