Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely involved in the present case along with other family members. In fact, the allegations levelled by the complainant are highly improbable and unbelievable and no specific injury/role has been attributed to the petitioner. He further submits that the injured, namely, Jaipal, has already been discharged from the hospital and is hale and hearty. Vikram, co-accused of the petitioner, was arrested on 11.04.2026 and an axe has already been recovered from him. Even Sumit, co-accused, was arrested by the police on 19.06.2026. Learned counsel further submits that after completion of investigation, challan has already been presented against the petitioner. However, the trial has not even formally commenced and out of total 16 witnesses cited by the prosecution, no witness has been examined so far and conclusion of the trial may take quite a long time. 3. On the other hand, learned State counsel has vehemently opposed the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner on the ground that there are serious allegations against the petitioner and the petitioner is not entitled for the concession of regular bail. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. AMIT RANA 2026.08.27 15:44 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CRM-M-47310-2026 -3- 5.
