P.P. …...... 02/ 24.03.2026: This bail application has been filed by the petitioner under Sections 483 & 484 of BNSS, 2023 wherein, prayer has been made for grant of bail as he is in custody for allegedly committing offence punishable under Sections 309(4) of BNS. 2. Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and have also gone through the impugned order. 3. Learned AddI. P.P. opposes the prayer for bail. 4. It is alleged that the informant went to the market and while returning home, some persons riding on the bikes chased and stop him and they snatched the bag containing Rs.40,000/- cash and flee away. 5. From the record, I find that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. The looted bag which was recovered from the possession of the petitioner was identified and this petitioner was put on T.I.P., but he was not identified in T.I.P. 6. Considering the fact that petitioner was not identified in the T.I.P. by the victim, I am inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khunti, in connection with Maranghada P.S. Case No.23 of 2025, subject to the condition that one of the bailors should be a close relative of the petitioner, having sufficient landed property in his/her own name within the State of Jharkhand.
