Case No. 79 of 2025 for the offences registered under Sections 140(2), 3(5) and 61 of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Sections 25(1-b)a/26(2) of the Arms Act pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Seraikela, is pressed into motion. The matter involves kidnapping for ransom of Rupees Two Crores and the name of this petitioner has come-up during investigation and on his disclosure statement, arms and ammunitions were recovered from his house. The Tata Vista Car bearing registration no.JH 05AF 0194 which was used in kidnapping of boy aged 20 years was seized at his instance. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that the similarly situated other co-accused has already been granted bail by the co-ordinate Bench of this Court. Learned A.P.P. opposed the bail petition. It is submitted that case of this petitioner is not on similar footing to the one to whom bail has been granted. Considering the gravity of offence and the incriminating materials against this petitioner, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
