After registration of the FIR, investigation proceedings were initiated. The petitioner was arrested on 30.11.2025. He suffered disclosure statement admitting his involvement in commission of subject offences. Investigation qua the petitioner stands completed. 3. It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that he has been falsely implicated in this case. He has been in custody since 30.11.2025. Investigation qua him already stands completed. The final report has been submitted before the learned trial Court and, therefore, no further custodial interrogation of the petitioner is required. Learned counsel further argued that the prosecution case is primarily based upon documentary evidence, all of which has already been collected by the investigating agency. Therefore, there is no possibility of the petitioner’s tampering with such evidence. He has clean antecedents. It has also argued that the allegations relate to a loan transaction. The petitioner has been in custody for a considerable period. Learned counsel submitted that the trial is likely to take time and continued incarceration of the petitioner would serve no useful purpose. It is, thus, urged that the petition deserves to be allowed. 4. Reply has been filed by the respondent-State. The petitioner has been in custody since 30.11.2025. The investigation qua the petitioner already stands completed and the final report has been presented before the learned trial Court. The State itself has stated that charges have been framed against the petitioner and the co-accused on 27.07.2026. Out of total 14 prosecution witnesses, only one witness has been examined so far, that too partially, which shows that conclusion of trial would take considerable time. Hence, there is no apprehension of the petitioner’s tampering with the same. Keeping in view the aforesaid facts and circumstances, this Court is of the considered view that the petitioner deserves the concession of regular bail. Accordingly, the present petition is allowed. The petitioner is ordered to be released on regular bail, subject to his furnishing personal/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court/Duty Magistrate concerned. 7.
