1. The petitioner seeks family pension on the death of her husband who was a permanent employee of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) as a Lance Naik.
2. Though the petitioner is the nominee, duly nominated by the late employee, it is not in dispute that the petitioner is the second wife of the said employee and the children of the first wife had not been added as respondents to this petition.
3. They have subsequently been added as respondents 7, 8 and 9 and service has also been effected on them. Such affidavit of service is kept on record.
4. In spite of such service, there is no representation on behalf of the said added respondents.
5. As suggested by Mr. Mitra, learned Advocate, appearing for the respondents, the concerned authority, the respondent no. 5, will consider this representation of 01.07.2026 and dispose of the same, upon notice to the petitioner as well

as to the respondents 7, 8 and 9 at the address furnished in the cause title of this writ petition.
6. Let this exercise be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order by the petitioner to the respondent number 5.
7. With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
8. All parties to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Hon’ble Court.
