Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition, at this stage. Learned counsel submits that a direction be issued to the trial Court to examine the complainant, in the first instance. 3. In view of the statement given by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is dismissed as having been withdrawn. 4. However, the trial Court is directed to make earnest efforts to record the statement of the complainant on 18.09.2026, if he has been so summoned for the said purpose. In case, he has not been summoned, the trial Court shall adjourn the matter for a week/10 days, summon the complainant and then examine him on the said date.
