The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of certiorari for quashing the impugned order dated 08.05.2026 (Annexure P-8), passed by the respondents, whereby the claim of the petitioner for grant him benefit of the Old Pension Scheme/General Provident Fund has been rejected. Further, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant the petitioner benefit of the Old Pension Scheme/General Provident Fund along with all consequential service and pensionary benefits. 2. After arguing the case for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to file a fresh one on the same cause of action with better particulars. 3.
