Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the submission of Mr. Mitra, learned Senior Counsel for the respondent/Port Trust as recorded at paragraph 3 in the order dated 24.08.2026 is correct. Mr. Mitra has further placed a copy of an email, wherein it has been stated as follows: “In reference to the trailing e-mail, it may please be noted that, Anbar Khan & 132 other labours of AM Enterprises had joined Five Star Shipping Agency Pvt. Ltd. and in this regard permits were duly issued by HDC to the said labours as per directions of the Court. Thereafter, the said labours again left Five Star Shipping Agency and joined AM Enterprises due to their internal arrangements. Presently, there is no dispute relating to issuance of dock permit of labours of neither AM Enterprise nor 2 Anbar Khan & 132 labours. Under the said circumstances, it is requested to take necessary steps to dispose both the matters as the same is infructuous in the present context.” 2. As such both the writ applications now being infructuous and are accordingly disposed of. 3. There shall be no order as to costs. 4.
