Affidavit of service filed on behalf of petitioner is taken on record. 2. Grievance of petitioner is in spite of lodging complaint steps are not being taken by the concerned police authorities. It is further submitted that there are serious allegations against respondent no. 7 requiring registration of FIR by the concerned police authorities on receipt of complaint from the petitioner. 3. Respondent no. 7 and State respondents are represented by learned advocates. 4. Learned advocate representing respondent no. 7 disputes submission made on behalf of petitioner with regard to allegation made against respondent no. 7. 2 5. However, learned advocate representing State respondents has filed a communication dated 18th August, 2026 of Inspector-in-Charge, Basanti Police Station and same is taken on record. Copies of said communication dated 18th August, 2026 are made over to the learned advocates representing petitioner and respondent no. 7. 6. It is disclosed in the said communication that on receipt of complaint of the petitioner FIR has been registered being Basanti Police Station Case No. 674 of 2026 dated 18th August, 2026 under certain provisions of BNS. 7. In view of steps taken by concerned police authorities it appears that grievance of the petitioner is redressed and no further order need be passed on this writ petition. 8.
