And In the matter of : Suman Mondal ……Petitioner. Mr. Kallol Kumar Basu Mr. Md. Jannat Ul Firdaus Mr. Rajsekhar Hota .....for the Petitioner. Mr. Subrata Mukherjee Mr. Sanjib Das ……for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for more than eight months, charge-sheet has already been submitted, as such petitioner be released on bail. Learned advocate appearing for the State has produced the Cased Diary. I have taken into account the statement under Section 183 of the BNSS and other materials appearing on record. Having considered the fact that the digital materials were not sent to the forensic laboratory, I am of the opinion that petitioner may be released on bail. As such, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. Accordingly, the petitioner, namely, Suman Mondal shall be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only), with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees 2 Ten Thousand only) each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Basirhat, North 24 Parganas. If on bail, the petitioner shall be physically present on each and every date before the learned Trial Court and shall not leave the jurisdiction of district of North 24 Parganas without prior permission of the learned Trial Court. Thus, CRM (M) No. 1624 of 2026 is allowed. Memo of evidence submitted by the State be kept with the record. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
