Accused in Crime No.282/2026 registered by Nandini Layout Police Station, Bangaluru for offences under Sections 11(i) and 12 of the POCSO Act is before this Court in this petition filed under Section 483 of BNSS Act, 2023 seeking regular bail. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional State Public Prosecutor for the respondent - - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010525972026 NC: 2026:KHC:46721 CRL.P No. 11553 of 2026 State. Respondent No.2 who is served in the matter, has remained un-represented before this Court. 3. FIR in Crime No.282/2026 was registered against the petitioner herein based on the first information dated 16.06.2026 received from respondent No.2. During the course of investigation, the petitioner was arrested on 16.06.2026 and remanded to judicial custody. His bail application filed before the jurisdictional Sessions Court in Crl.Misc.No.6388/2026 was rejected on 22.07.2006. Therefore, he is before this Court. 4. In the first information submitted by the mother of the victim girl aged 6 years, it is stated that on 15.06.2026 at about 09.30 p.m, while the victim girl was playing outside her house, the petitioner approached her, unzipped his pant and exposed his private part to the victim girl. It is under these circumstances, F.I.R was registered against the petitioner. Considering the nature of allegations found against the petitioner and the maximum punishment provided for the alleged offences, I am of the view that his prayer for regular bail needs to be answered affirmatively. Accordingly, the following; ORDER The petition is allowed. The petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in Crime No.282/2026 registered by Nandini Layout Police Station, Bangaluru for the offences under Sections 11(i) and 12 of the POCSO Act, pending before Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge (FTSC-I), Bengaluru, subject to the following conditions: a) Petitioner shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties for the likesum, to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional Court; b) The petitioner shall appear regularly on all the dates of hearing before the Trial Court unless the Trial Court exempts his appearance for valid reasons; - 5 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010525972026 NC: 2026:KHC:46721 CRL.P No. 11553 of 2026 c) The petitioner shall not directly or indirectly threaten or tamper with the prosecution witnesses; d) The petitioner shall not involve in similar offences in future; Sd/- (S VISHWAJITH SHETTY) JUDGE GH List No.: 1 Sl No.: 67
