(2) Petitioner contends that he is serving on daily wages in Forest Department since February 2021, but he is not being paid minimum of pay scale. Petitioner has sought a direction to the competent authority to pay him the prevailing minimum of pay scale as per 7th Pay Commission recommendation.
(3) Learned State Counsel submits that petitioner is being engaged only during fire season and he is not regularly engaged in the department. He, however, submits that if petitioner has any grievance, he may approach the competent authority by making a representation.
(4) Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of by permitting the petitioner to make representation to the Divisional Forest Officer concerned. If he makes representation within ten days from today, decision thereupon shall be taken, as per law, within three months thereafter.
