The instant criminal revision has been preferred by the revisionist / husband against the judgment and order dated 07.05.2022 passed by the Judge, Family Court, Kashipur District Udham Nagar in Misc. Criminal Case No. 206 of 2020 titled as “Smt. Muskaan vs. Asif Hussian” whereby on an application moved under Section 125 of Cr.P.C the maintenance has been awarded to the respondent/wife. 4. Revisionist and respondent both are present in the Court and they are identified by their respective counsel. 5. The instant revision has been filed along with the compounding application with joint compromise of both dated 20.04.2026 wherein it is contended that the respondent/wife does not want to proceed further against the revisionist since they have settled their dispute by way of mutual consent to get divorce. 6. Learned counsel for the parties also apprised to this Court that the Coordinate Bench today, in C-528 No. 791 of 2026 quashed the another proceeding by allowing the compounding application. 7. Now, keeping in view the fact that both the parties have settled their dispute amicably and they do not want to pursue the proceeding under Section 125 of Cr.P.C, therefore, there is no useful purpose to continue the present proceeding. 8. In such view of the matter, the compounding application as well as the instant 2026:UHC:3036 criminal revision both are allowed by condoning the delay of 1353 days and the order impugned dated 07.05.2022 passed by the Judge Family Court Kashipur District Udham Nagar in Criminal Case No. 206 of 2020 titled as “Smt.
