The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a) Issue a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the Respondents to consider and grant emergency parole to the petitioner's brother, V Amaresh @ Ambarish (CTP No.12065), in accordance with the provisions of the Karnataka Prisons Rules; b) Pass order/direction to release petitioner brother by nature of writ of mandamus to the Respondent No.2 to release this Petitioner brother V Amaresh @ Ambarish (CTP No.12065) on emergency Parole. c) Also grant any additional order/direction that this Hon'ble Court may deem fit to grant under the facts and circumstances in the interest of justice and Equity. - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010472842026 NC: 2026:KHC:41387 WP No. 21560 of 2026 2. Learned AGA submits that there is no application which has been submitted for grant of parole and it is for that reason that the application of the petitioner could not be made and no order could be passed. 3. Reserving liberty to the petitioner/detenu to file an application seeking for parole to the petitioner and directing the respondent to consider the said application once filed.
