JUSTICE SURAJ GOVINDARAJ ORAL ORDER 1. The petitioner who is the mother of detenu-Alwin is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a. Direct the Respondent No.2 to grant general parole to the Petitioner's convict Son ALWIN CTP- 00894, for a period of 90 days on Medical grounds of petitioner which is evident from the Medical Certificate issued by the Arthritis and Rheumatology Clinic, the presence of convict is necessarily required to provide medical care. b. Pass any other order(s) which this court may deem fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice. 2. The detenu has recently been convicted in another case vide judgment dated 30.07.2026 in S.C. No.84 of 2021 and has been sentenced to undergo imprisonment for a period of 10 years. The detenu was earlier convicted for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the IPC and sentenced to imprisonment for life.
