The present intra Court appeal has been filed impugning the judgment and order dated 02.11.2022 passed by the writ Court in W.P.No.24840/2018, whereby the writ petition filed by

the appellant challenging the order of compulsory retirement dated 07.09.2015 came to be dismissed.
2. The present appeal has been filed with an inordinate delay of 950 days. The appellant has filed an application seeking condonation of delay, supported by an affidavit explaining the reason for not preferring the appeal within the prescribed period.
3. The reason assigned in paragraph 3 of the affidavit reads as under:
"I submit that the impugned
order in W.P.No.24840/2018 (service) was passed by the Ld. Single Judge on 02.09.2022 was informed by my advocate in the 4th week of Feb 2026 and was nformed teh appeal has to be filed within 90 days. That due to financial difficulties and having no source of income after arranging the money by taking hand loan from friends and relatives has filed the top noted appeal. That delay has accord due to above said reasons. That if the delay is not condoned the deponent will be put to irreparable loss and injury on the other if the delay is condoned the respondent will not put to any loss or inconvenience."
4. We are of the considered view that reason assigned in the affidavit seeking condonation of such a huge delay of 950

days is neither satisfactory nor bona fide. Therefore, we dismiss the application seeking condonation of delay. Resultantly, the appeal also stands dismissed.
