1. Heard Mr. Dheerendra Pandey, learned counsel for the appellant. Also heard Mr. Ghanshyam Patel, learned counsel, appearing for the respondent.
2. This appeal has been filed assailing the judgment dated 14.01.2026 passed by the learned First District Judge, Pendra Road, District Bilaspur (C.G.) (for short, ‘learned trial Court’) in Civil Suit No. 20- BRIJMOHAN MORLE Digitally signed by BRIJMOHAN MORLE Date: 2026.09.25 17:48:10 +0530
2 A/2024, wherein the application filed by the appellant (husband) for dissolution of marriage with the respondent has been allowed, subject to payment of Rs. 3 lakhs towards permanent alimony.
3. This appeal has been filed assailing the quantum of permanent alimony directed to be paid by the learned trial Court.

Learned counsel for the parties made elaborate submission on merits of the case. However, in course of argument, learned counsel for the parties mutually agreed that the permanent alimony be paid in equal bi-monthly installments. It is also agreed upon that the permanent alimony of Rs. 3 lakhs shall be paid by the appellant to the respondent @ Rs. 75,000/- per each installment.

Hence, the appeal is disposed of on agreement of learned counsel for the parties to the effect that the permanent alimony of Rs. 3 lakhs shall be paid to the respondent @ Rs. 75,000/- in 4 (four) bi- monthly installments and the first such installment shall be paid in the first week of November, 2026. Each installments shall be paid during first week of the month when it is due. Default in payment of any or more installments to the respondent in time shall entail the respondent to recover it taking recourse to law.
6. With the aforesaid direction, the appeal is disposed of on consent of the learned counsel for the parties. Sd/-
