In Re: An Application for Anticipatory Bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Murshidabad Police Station case no. 472 of 2025 dated 21.05.2025 under Sections 20(b)(ii)(c)/29 of the NDPS Act, 1985.
And In the matter of : Rajesh Ghosh
……Petitioner. Mr. R. Islam Mr. S. Bhakat Mr. Mr. Rahaman
.....for the Petitioner. Mr. L. Vishal Kumar Mr. Sanjib Das
……for the State.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been implicated on the basis of statement of co- accused. Learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that there were number of communications made at the relevant point of time between the person from whom there has been recovery and the present petitioner, to that effect call details records are available. In view of the aforesaid, I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. Accordingly, CRM (A) 2832 of 2026 is dismissed. Memo of evidence submitted by the State be kept with the record.
