At the outset, learned State Counsel submits that the present writ petition is not maintainable in view of the availability of an alternative statutory remedy by way of appeal under Rule 23 of the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1966, against the impugned order of suspension. 2. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty 3 to avail the aforesaid alternative statutory remedy before the competent Appellate Authority. 3.
