(Oral) On 28.01.2026 the following order was passed:- “By way of filing present petition under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the petitioners have sought quashing of FIR No.0080 dated 12.02.2025 under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC registered at Police Station Assandh, District Karnal (Annexure P-1) alongwith all consequential proceedings on the basis of compromise dated 21.01.2026 (Annexure P-2). Notice of motion. Mr. Sunny Namdev, AAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and prays for some time to seek instructions. On the other hand, Ms. Dilpreet, Advocate enters appearance, files power of attorney on behalf of respondent No.2-Complainant and admits the factum of compromise. VISHAL SETHI 2026.08.27 18:21 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CRM-M-4544-2026 -2- In light of the above, the parties are directed to appear before the trial Court within a period of four weeks from today for getting their statements recorded qua the compromise and the trial Court is directed to send its report with regard to the following effects: 1. The number of accused in the present case. 2. Whether any accused has been declared proclaimed person or proceedings under Section 82 Cr.P.C. are going on against any accused or not. 3. The name of complainant/injured if any or whether all of them have made their statements qua compromise. 4. The stage of trial/proceedings. 5. Whether the compromise is genuine, voluntary and out of free will of the parties. Report of trial Court be awaited for 11.05.2026.” 2. Thereafter, on 11.05.2026, the following order was passed: “On 28.01.2026, the parties were directed to appear before the Illaqa Magistrate/trial Court, to get their statements recorded with regard to the compromise, if any. The learned counsel for the petitioners states that the parties could not appear before the Court below to get their respective statements recorded and he, thus, prays that one more opportunity be granted to the parties to do the needful. Adjourned to 27.08.2026. In the meantime, the parties are again directed to appear before the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate for recording of their statement with regard to the compromise on 16.07.2026 by moving an appropriate application or by presenting this order, in terms of the order dated 28.01.2026 passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court” VISHAL SETHI 2026.08.27 18:21 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CRM-M-4544-2026 -3- 3.
