By presenting this writ petition petitioner prays for direction upon concerned police authority to take steps which would preserve right of petitioner over the agricultural land in question. 3. Notice of this Court has been drawn to a complaint dated 28th July, 2026 addressed to the police authority whereby police authority was requested to take steps. According to the petitioner, there is in-action on the part of concerned police authority which prompted petitioner to approach this Court with the present writ petition. 4. State respondents and respondent nos.5 & 6 are not represented by learned advocates. 5. It appears on perusal of the complaint dated 28th July, 2026 there is an allegation that respondent no.6 has acquired right in respect of said agricultural land and the said land has been recorded in favour of respondent no.6. 6. Be that as it may police authority is not the appropriate authority to decide in whose favour [2] amongst petitioner and private respondents land has been recorded by concerned authority. 7. If petitioner finds that his right to cultivate the said land is being denied by private respondents, in that event, petitioner needs to approach appropriate forum/ authority in pursuit of remedy. 8. However, concerned police authorities are directed to maintain peace and tranquility at the locale and to see that no untoward incident takes place. 9. Writ petition stands disposed of. 10.
