RANU GHOSH Vs.
THE STATE OF WEST BENGAL & ORS.
Mr. Sankha Ghosh, Advocate Mr. Gourav Haldar, Advocate Mr. Biswarup Nandy, Advocate ……for the Petitioner Mr. Souvik Sen, Advocate …..for the State
1. Affidavit of service, as filed, be kept with the record.
2. The petitioner is aggrieved that in spite of the
order dated 15.05.2025 passed by the West Bengal State Administrative Tribunal, as well as an appropriate recommendation from the Executive Engineer, as reflected from the documents of 04.11.2025 and 27.11.2025 (copies whereof are kept on record as part of the report), respondent no. 2 has not taken any steps to decide on the issue of the compassionate appointment of the petitioner.
3. The petitioner is the married daughter of a former employee of the State Government, employed as a work-peon under the respondent authority.
4. Since the petitioner's application has already been allowed and duly recommended by the concerned authorities, I find no reason for respondent no. 2 not to take a decision in this matter.
5. The requisite documents had been forwarded to him sometime in November 2025.
