Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had preferred an appeal dated 07.11.2025 before respondent No.2, Director General of Police, Police Headquarters, Raipur, against the order whereby his services were terminated. It is submitted that the petitioner has also been acquitted in the criminal case and, therefore, his appeal deserves consideration.
3. Learned State counsel, on instructions, submits that if the appeal preferred by the petitioner, which is stated to have been filed as Annexure P/3, is pending consideration before the competent authority, the same shall be considered and decided within a period of 50 days.
4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents.

Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, it is directed that, in the event the appeal dated 07.11.2025 (Annexure P/3) is pending consideration before respondent No.2/competent authority, the said authority shall consider and decide the same, in accordance with law, within a period of 50 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this
order. The decision shall be taken by passing a reasoned and speaking
order, taking into consideration the grounds raised by the petitioner in the appeal as well as the relevant documents placed on record, including the judgment of acquittal, if relied upon by the petitioner.
