Instant writ petition has been filed with the following prayer :- I) To kindly call for the records of the case from the respondents. ii) To kindly quash the impugned Notification dated 23/07/2025 (Annexure P/1). iii) To kindly direct the Respondents to continue with the eligibility criteria prescribed under the Chhattisgarh Sports and Youth Welfare Class III, Non-Gazetted (Ministerial and Executive) service Rules, 2008. iv) To kindly make any other order that may be deemed fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case including awarding of the costs to the petitioner. 2. The petitioner, in this writ petition, seeks to assail the Notification dated 23rd July, 2025 issued by the Sports and Youth Development Department, Government of Chhattisgarh. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the relaxation in the impugned Notification was for a period of one year, which has lapsed in the meantime. Hence, the writ petition has become infructuous. 4. Learned Deputy Advocate General submits that return has already been filed, but in view of the lapse of time, this writ petition has become infructous. 5. In view of above, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous.
