JUSTICE P SREE SUDHA ORAL ORDER This petition is filed by wife for transfer of G & WC No.99/2025 filed by husband before III Addl. Senior Civil Judge, Bangalore Rural to the court of the Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru, or to any other competent family court at Bengaluru, from III Addl. Senior Civil Judge, Bengaluru Rural, to be tried along with or in consonance with MC No.7431/2025. 2. Heard the arguments of learned counsel for petitioner and learned counsel for respondent. 3. It is stated that the petitioner/wife is residing in Bangalore Rural and respondent/husband has filed MC No.7431/2025 for divorce before Principal Family Court, Bengaluru. Initially, respondent/husband had filed - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010397292026 NC: 2026:KHC:44519 CP No. 187 of 2026 Divorce case No.1862/2024 before Family Court, Gautam Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh and it was transferred to Bangalore Rural, as per the orders of the Supreme Court in Transfer Petition (Civil) No.1324/2025 dated 17.10.2025 and re-numbered the same as MC No.7431/2025. The marriage of petitioner with respondent was performed in 2016 and they are blessed with a child on 16.12.2020 and presently aged 5 years. The boy is residing with the petitioner/wife. The respondent has no objection to transfer of the case. Therefore, this Court finds that it is just and reasonable to transfer G & WC No.99/2025 from III Addl. Senior Civil Judge, Bengaluru Rural to the court of the Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru, as already MC No.7431/2025 is pending before the said court. 4. It is further stated that as she violated the ex- parte visitation rights granted by the court, contempt is initiated against her. In view of transfer of the said case, - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010397292026 NC: 2026:KHC:44519 CP No. 187 of 2026 the contempt filed under Misc.
